The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is designed to help protect your personal data. It requires us (LRAS) to obtain your consent to collect and store personal data. By giving us your personal information, you consent for us to store that personal information.
What personal information is electronically stored?
The LRAS stores the following information on our data base: name, address, e-mail address, phone number. We require your written permission to pass any of these details on to another individual or organisation.
Who holds that information?
The Secretary and the Treasurer.
Where is the information stored?
Your contact details are stored on the personal computers of the above committee members. No other person has access to the computer or personal PIN without permission of the above committee members.
When is it stored?
Contact details are updated annually, when you fill in a new LRAS membership form. If you cease to be a member, or no longer wish your contact details to be electronically stored, we will erase personal data on request.
Why is it stored?
Any communication by e-mail is solely about the LRAS, its members and any art-related activities which could be of interest to our members.
